How do we turn a flamingo’s balance into architecture?
It started with a simple idea.
How do you take something light and balanced, like a flamingo, and turn it into a structure people can walk under?
A form like this can look good in concept… but fail when it comes to structure, movement, and buildability.
Too complex, and it becomes impossible to execute.
So the approach had to be controlled from the beginning.
We studied how forces move through the structure, how people circulate around it, and how the form could hold itself without losing its identity.
Every curve, every connection, and every material decision was resolved as one system, not separate parts.
The result is a canopy that feels light and expressive, but is buildable and efficient.
What looks like a gesture is actually a controlled structure.
Swipe through to see how the concept evolved into a real, working system.
