Honey Garlic Chicken Wings π―π
Crispy, juicy and coated in a sticky honey garlic sauce, these wings are so delicious that youβll forget restaurant wings ever existed! Perfect for family dinners, tea-time snacks or game nights. π
π Ingredients
π 500g Chicken Wings
π₯ 2 tbsp Baking Powder
π§ 2 tbsp Butter
π§ 4-5 Garlic Cloves (finely chopped)
π§ Salt to taste
πΆοΈ 1 tsp Black Pepper
π― For the Sauce
π₯ 5 tbsp Ketchup
π― 3 tbsp Honey
π₯ 1 tbsp White Sesame Seeds
π₯ 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
π Juice of 1 Lemon
π§ 1 tsp Garlic Powder
πΏ For Garnish
π₯¬ Spring Onion (chopped)
π₯ White Sesame Seeds

Soak chicken wings in water with baking powder for 20 minutes.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the wings and boil for 7-8 minutes. Remove any foam that appears on top.

Remove wings from the water and set aside.
β
Heat butter in a pan. Add chopped garlic and fry for 2 minutes.
β
Add the boiled wings and fry for 4-5 minutes.
β
Season with salt and black pepper.
β
In a bowl, mix ketchup, honey, sesame seeds, soy sauce, lemon juice and garlic powder.
β
Pour the sauce over the wings and mix well.
β
Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
β
Remove the lid and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the wings beautifully.
β
Garnish with spring onions and white sesame seeds.
