✨ FREE electric hot water system upgrades.
More money in the back pocket and a reduced carbon footprint..
how can I achieve this? Glad you asked.
You can get a FREE* (free in capital letters, asterisk as small as it can be, but is definitely there) hot water system upgrade, funded by the state government’s Victorian Energy Upgrades program (Yahoo it). WhiteAir & Plumbing are working under the VEU program to conduct the installations, so the benefits to you, the customer are a) free upgrade of your old electric hot water system b) supporting local trades, c) warm fuzzy for reducing your greenhouse emissions (approx 2.5T less of CO2 per year) and d) $650 per year (on average) saving on your electricity bill, cash straight in the back pocket. Or any pocket. Could even be into you wallet. Or you could spend it, as carrying around $650 in your back pocket would be socially obscure and unnecessarily risky.

*To be eligible for the FREEness, the main criteria is that your existing hot water unit needs to be electric, located outside and not connected to solar water heating panels (solar electricity panels are ok). Sincere apologies to the folks on gas, given that gas hot water systems are more efficient than electric, the CO2 reduction isn’t sufficient enough for the government rebates to cover the costs at the moment.

We are looking for a labourer to help us tomorrow. Will pay hourly rate of $25 cash. In Strathfieldsaye (make own way there), from 8.30am for 4-5 hours. It will be backfilling trenches, must be willing to work hard on the shovel and wheelbarrow 😊
