This weekends instalment of Alby. We are so happy with our efforts so far! He has come along way since the 25th of April.

Houseboat and boat registrations are complete. Maritime is being kept up to date with our progress.

Alby needs to come out of water at the start of June - dry dock for approx 2 weeks for any leaks/repairs to be fixed. Whilst he is out of water we will be able to do a lot more work!

Stay tuned for more progress and transformations.

Renovations begin!

We are so excited to be on this journey!

There will be massive changes as we bring this beauty back to life.

The previous owner had left all of their belongings on board…..

You soon work out pretty quickly that you can’t just throw things into the back of a Ute or trailer when renovating on the water!

This was our very first encounter with our new Houseboat. This wasn’t what we were expecting and we left a little deflated this day as the boat was in a lot worse shape than what we thought.
We returned back to Wollongong that afternoon and all we did was talk and plan about how we could turn this Houseboat around. A fortnight later we were the proud new owners!

And so our journey begins!
