This is what you want from your prime coat of epoxy! The dry ‘thirsty’ look of the concrete mean that the first coat has really soaked in, giving the best possible bond.
That right there is why I grind EVERY job to open up the slab and why my work will NEVER fail.
Do it once, do it right. 👊🏽

Cool job last week.
D Block at the old Pentridge Prison was bought and all the cells are currently being converted into wine/whiskey/cigar storage for the individual owners.
Such an amazing old building.
Also the very spot where the last person was hanged in Australia (Ronald Ryan), note the large wooden beam. Im told the trap door used was brought in from the Old Melb Gaol once it closed down. Now back on display at Melb Gaol museum.
11 in all met their maker in this place, one lady being strapped to a chair for the procedure, due to her catatonic state.
Also note the rusty file i found outside. Kinda funny huh?
