Termination day on this one.

We’re terminating 150mm² cables into a new 200a circuit breaker, so there’s no shortcuts here.

Using Cabac lugs and the Milwaukee crimper to get consistent, solid compressions. Correct die set, full compression, checked and torqued — exactly how it should be done on high-load battery infrastructure.

With systems pulling this kind of current, the quality of your terminations is everything. Clean prep, no strand damage, tight connections and proper support on the cables. Do it once, do it right.

The last couple of months leading into and through Christmas have been massive for the Electech team.

Across North Sydney, Chatswood and North Ryde, we’ve completed multiple EV charger installations for strata and commercial clients, supporting the continued shift toward electrification.

In the same period, the team has successfully installed over 300 kW of battery storage, and we’re currently in the middle of a major commercial project installing 2 × 269 kW battery systems.

Alongside this, our team has also refurbished the electrical works across 44 dorm rooms, as well as several other commercial spaces — all delivered while maintaining live environments and tight timeframes.

Working through the break is never easy, but the dedication, workmanship and professionalism shown by the team has been exceptional. Every site reflects the high standards we set for safety, quality and reliability.
