We had an unplanned power outage yesterday which blew up our VOIP so we aren’t getting phone calls in or out!!

Should be back up and running with a new VOIP connected on Monday.

Make sure you put your air conditioners on early on a day that is going to be hot.
It’s more effective and uses less power if it can keep the room cool rather than have to bring a hot room’s temperature down.
Don’t set it to less than 20 degrees or it will probably ice up and start to leak water or blow warm air.

Our phone is out today. I called the phone provider and waited for more than an hour to be cut ff by the operator when they finally answered... sigh..

We're still working!
With this period of isolation at home (or hibernation), we are still able to repair and service ducted heating systems and reverse cycle air condtioners used for heating.

We're now closed for our Christmas break. We'll be back from our break on January 20th 2020.

A word to the wise: It's going to be scorching these next few weeks. Make sure you put on your air conditioner nice and early in the day so it can keep up with the escalating heat-load. If you leave it till the afternoon when it's already roasting hot, it may not cope and switch off from overloading. It also works put to be more efficient if you put it on early..
Also don't set the temperature to less than 20 degrees, as that can make the system ice-up the refrigeration coil and then the system will not cool.

We're closed for our Christmas break until January 21st but Melbourne's going to have a scorcher tomorrow. Remember to turn on your cooling early and leave it on. Turning it on later will only make more work for it as your house heats up and actually cost more electricity than giving it a lighter load all day to deal with. Stay cool!!! ( Luckily it's a one day thing this time!)
