DAY 4- second hurdle. The neighbours storm runs right through the property, the sewer riser wasn’t connected. We now have to strip out about 10 cubic metres of gravel and first to prevent collapse and also now allow us to dig piers to construct a bridge footing. So many things you just can’t foresee

DAY 3 - first hurdle. Started excavating footings today …… rock. Oh well, on with the ripper and rock breaker .

DAY 2- Choosing the right machine is so important. Big enough to keep up the tempo, but small enough to be able to be versatile. For this project we chose a 5 tonne combo with a 10m truck.
