Things to check when getting quoted on Crimsafe security screen doors:

Are you being quoted on Genuine Crimsafe? Have they written Crimsafe as the product on the quote?
If you are looking at a sample, make sure that it has the CRIMSAFE badge and it has the patented screw-clamped™ method to secure the mesh to the frame. If not, it may be a cheaper, weaker imitation product.

A security screen door is only as strong as the lock used to complete the installation!
Vincent Security only uses Ultra Strength Archie Triple Locks on sliding security screen door installations. These are endorsed by the NSSA and are compliant for the Australian Standard 5039 2008. The lock handles are powder coated in black, but the lock body and lock tongues are fabricated in stainless steel. The specialized ‘parrot beak’ design is another advantage to avoid manipulating the locks for unwanted entry.

Does your quote include Heavy Duty interlocks with the door or is it an additional charge?
Specific to all sliding security screen doors, our Heavy-Duty ●Very Strong● interlocks are included as part of the door. The interlock on a sliding door couples with the fixed glass panel to prevent the back of the Crimsafe sliding security screen door being removed from the tracks. Many other companies use a weaker version, but this does compromise the strength of the security, and some add charges for the stronger components. All Vincent Security’s security screen doors include the Heavy-Duty interlocks required to complete a high-quality installation at no extra charge.

Have you been quoted with high quality rollers/wheels top and bottom of the doors?
It is important that you understand the componentry supplied with your security screen door and it may seem insignificant, but wheels do make for a more stable sliding security screen door as it moves along the tracks. It is far less likely that the security screen door will jump off the tracks if someone bumps the door while in an open position and, with the wheels in place, you will be able to maintain the quality of the powder coated finish on the door frames and tracking making it a product that will last.
