Huge thanks to Cairns Mower City 🙌 My ride-on started playing up this morning, I dropped it in for repair, and unbelievably it was all sorted within just a few hours and picked up by lunchtime. Such a massive help — if you ever get stuck, definitely give Cairns Mower City a go!

New Shindaiwa backpack blower is in the trailer now 💨
My old blower suddenly stopped recoiling, so I was in a bit of trouble, but City came through again. Always a big help having a reliable local shop with proper stock on hand.

新しい新ダイワのバックパックブロワーを導入しました💨
古いブロワーが急にリコイルできなくなって少し困りましたが、こういう時に頼りになるのはやっぱりローカルのお店。 はいつも在庫がしっかりあって本当に助かります。

Busy days lately — grateful for all the jobs coming in 🙏
But this is exactly when maintenance matters most.
Good tools are not enough if they’re not ready when I need them.

最近はおかげさまで忙しい日々🙏
でもこういう時こそメンテナンスが大事。
どんなに良い道具でも、いざという時に動かなければ意味がない。

Found a Buddha statue while clearing garden weeds today 🌿🙏
Buddha statues are a pretty popular garden decoration here in Australia, but as a Japanese person, it honestly made me smile a little more.

庭の雑草取りをしていたら、まさかの仏様が出てきました🌿🙏
オーストラリアでは庭のデコレーションとしてよく見かけますが、日本人としてはちょっと嬉しくなる瞬間。

Today was insanely hot again ☀️ I spent all day doing tree cut-backs, and right before heading home… my whole body cramped up in the car and I literally couldn’t move for a bit 😵‍💫

Looked it up and it sounds like a moderate heat exhaustion / heat stress — I think I didn’t get enough salt (and food) during the day.

If you’re working outside, please don’t skip meals, drink plenty of water, and don’t forget to top up electrolytes/salt too 🙏 Stay safe out there.

今日もめちゃ暑い日でした☀️ 1日中ずっと木のきり戻し作業してて、家帰る前に車の中で全身つってしまって、しばらく動けなくなりました😵‍💫

調べたら中程度の熱中症みたいで、たぶん塩分（とご飯）が足りなかったっぽいです。

外作業の人は、水分だけじゃなくて、ちゃんと食べて塩分・電解質も補給わすれないでね🙏 みんな気をつけて！

Picked up a new Shindaiwa whipper snipper today 💪
Got lots of recommend from community and decided this model. Lucky enough, Cairns Mower City had stock so I grab it today. Super friendly shop, really good place 👍
Can’t wait to use it once the rain stop 🌧️➡️☀️

New year has started but already rainy mowing season 🌧️🌿 Same every year but honestly bit tough… There was few houses I couldn’t make it nice before last year end, still little regret in my mind. So this year again, I will mow and mow and mow more 💪✂️

新年二日目から始まったけど、毎日雨の芝刈りスタート。
毎年のことだけど、やっぱり少し困るね…。
去年の年越し前に綺麗にできなかったお家がいくつかあって、それがちょっと心残り。

今年も刈って刈って刈ってまいります。

No work today because of the rain ☔
So today I’m cleaning and organising my car 🚗
Since Kings came to Cairns a few years ago,
it’s been easy and cheap to organise my car. Thanks 👍

雨で今日は仕事なし☔
なので今日は車の整理・整頓してます。
