Clients country style laundry was outside on the patio. We built a multi functional washing machine, dryer, outdoor bar and storage area. Access to the washing machine is via a lift away lid on the right. Dryer and storage area under with decking board cladding for ventilation. Tub doubles as a laundry tub and sink for the bar top. Door handles are custom made using the matching decking boards.

Stage 1 of the new grand entrance to our Bundaberg renovation. Stage 2 apply deck oil to the hardwood and fill with stone.

Today we discovered at our Bundaberg renovation the paint peeling off of the hallway walls. The paint is peeling because acrylic paint was applied directly onto the existing enamel paint. To fix this problem it took hours of scraping and sanding to remove the peeling acrylic top coat. If you need to paint acrylic paint over existing enamel paint, you need to sand the shine off the enamel paint and apply an enamel undercoat before applying your acrylic paint system.

Progress photos of our recently completed Patio ceiling project at Mount Coolum. Ceiling water damaged from a major roof leak. Customer requested a beach look to the ceiling, instead of the original flush finish look. Cover strips over the fibre cement sheeting joins, gives the ceiling that classic Beach/Queenslander look.

Recent water damaged wall repair at Golden Beach. Water leaked through window and soaked the stud wall. Hole in plasterboard caused by moisture rising up from the saturated bottom plate. Remove all water damaged materials, replace plasterboard and re-paint.
