Who are your QLD Member Representatives? | Welcome to QLD Chapter Council 2024
The QLD Chapter welcome Jade Bebbington and Andrew Noonan to the QLD Chapter Council for 2024. We look forward to their contributions over their 2024-26 term and congratulate them both on being elected.
We also welcome back to the QLD Chapter Council re-elected Councillors Jim Gall, Belinda Allwood, and our Councillors who are currently half-way through their elected terms, Shy Tay, Aaron Peters, Caroline Stalker, and Roger Mainwood.
We would like to thank Lisa Moore, Leah Gallagher and Paul Jones for their time on the Chapter Council over the past few years. Lisa, Paul and Leah, you have all contributed many hours of volunteer time and many thoughts and efforts to progress the Institute’s goals and to represent your profession via the Chapter Council, and you continue to contribute greatly through your ongoing roles within the Institute and beyond. Thank you for your contributions!
Jim Gall, Andrew Noonan and Liza Neil all nominated for National Council and we thank them for the time and effort taken in their nominations. It is great to see such active member engagement from our QLD members. Congratulations to Liza Neil who after a successful nomination will be joining Lisa Moore and Catherine Baudet on our National Council in 2024. After Liza’s successful National Election, she has renounced her Chapter Council elected role, to allow opportunity for others to contribute and to ensure her full efforts at National Council.
Finally, the QLD Chapter also welcome Russell Hall, as the incoming President for 2024-2026. Our current QLD President, Amy Degenhart, will hand over the Presidential duties at the first Chapter Council in February and officially at the President’s Honours Dinner on the 23rd of February, at Customs House in Brisbane.
We are looking forward to another productive year with our Chapter Council and encourage members to connect with their elected representatives on Chapter and National Council on matters of the profession and our organisation.
