Here is some awesome feedback from one of our very happy clients. 😊

Our home in the inner north was well overdue for external painting. In particular the oil finish cedar windows were badly weathered and we were expecting that they would have to be painted with enamel or acrylic paint to cover the cracking and weathering. But Darren was confident he could retrieve them and retain the look of the original natural cedar. There were also cracks in the Terylene rendering and areas of wood rot in the large deck balustrades.


Darren and his team did a fantastic job not only of the painting itself but also the patching, filling and repairing which made such a difference to the end job. We couldn’t be happier with the result.


Darren was very easy to work with. He kept all appointments and got the job done in a very timely manner considering the COVID-19 difficulties at the time. Darren’s staff, Danny and Mick, are also very considerate and polite young men who went out of their way to make things comfortable for us while we were in the house.

At all our customers and Inquiries we are still actively open for business until we are told otherwise. We are currently under going health and safety courses and ongoing advice from the Master Painters Association of NSW and ACT In which to operate under the current social distancing conditions. To whom it may concern

In September 2018 I requested a quote for exterior and interior paint work from Brian Combridge who had previously done work on my home. Brian provided an acceptable quote, but advised that his business was now being conducted by Darren Hearn.
Darren confirmed the quote provided by Brian and commenced the exterior work at the mutually agreed time in March. Darren was exceptionally good at ensuring that I was advised at every step as to the materials and finishes he was using and I am exceptionally pleased at the finished work.
The interior work was delayed, by mutual agreement, until July, and I was particularly pleased that the team was so willing to work around my heavy furniture where possible.
All work was completed on schedule. Although replacement of some exterior wood was needed (this was anticipated) the work was completed with minimum fuss and disruption to the whole job. Indeed, I was impressed with the additional tradesman Darren called in for specialist advice/skills, (roof, woodwork) thereby ensuring that all work was completed professionally to a very high standard.
At all times throughout this work Darren and his team were professional, friendly and courteous. I felt very comfortable leaving the guys working in my home while going out and about. I was particularly impressed with how, at the end of each work day the team was meticulous in ensuring their equipment was appropriately stored out of my way.
I had delayed this work for far too long, being very apprehensive about finding the right people to do the job. I need not have worried.
I highly recommend Darren Hearn and his team, and would be quite willing to chat further, or show you his work.
