Meet Carmelo Bagnato, founder and director of Tessellated Tile Factory.

For more than 25 years, Carmelo has dedicated his career to the art of tessellated tiling, personally mastering every stage of the process—from cutting and preparation through to the intricate hand-laying techniques that have become synonymous with our reputation.

What began as a passion for traditional craftsmanship has grown into one of Australia's leading tessellated tile manufacturers. Combining heritage design principles with contemporary innovation, Carmelo has helped bring countless verandahs, pathways, gazebos and heritage restorations to life across the country.

Today, his vision continues through our Sydney factory, where every tessellated, mosaic and encaustic design is carefully crafted with the same commitment to quality, precision and authenticity that has defined the business from the beginning.

Fully supplied by Tessellated Tile Factory, this beautiful space features our classic Octagon & Dot mosaic in White and Off White, with St Moritz encaustic tiles thoughtfully scattered throughout in place of selected dots, creating a unique and refined heritage-inspired detail.

The shower is finished with our Natural White Hexagon tiles, paired with Ivory White Egg & Dart trims for a seamless decorative touch. A feature decorative tile at the shower floor adds the perfect finishing detail, bringing texture and personality to the space.
