After the wild weather this week, it's a good chance to go over tree safety....
We see a lot of beautiful trees like eucalyptus, bottlebrush, and jacarandas in Adelaide, but these require maintenance. Especially if they're around the home.
✅ Check Your Trees Seasonally – Inspect for dead branches, cracks in the trunk, or leaning trees—especially after intense weather events
✂️ "Prune in June" as they say – Late winter to early spring is usually ideal for pruning in SA. Remove deadwood and branches near roofs, fences, or powerlines. (Read up on your local council rules or ask us)
🧑🌾 Call an Arborist – Some Adelaide councils require permits for tree work, especially on regulated or significant trees. A qualified, experienced arborist will know what's allowed in your area.
⚠️ Storm & Fire Prep – Trim back branches that overhang your home or gutters before storm season. For those near bushfire zones, proper clearance is vital.
If you're unsure how to maintain your trees or need something removed, give us a call!
