🎉 34 Photos for 34 Years – Happy Birthday Jesse! 🎉

This bloke has seen just about everything this business could throw at him over the years.

From house clean-ups and tip runs to needle removals, tree work, hedges, lawns, gutters, storm damage and everything in between. If there was a strange, challenging or downright ridiculous job, chances are Jesse was right in the middle of it.

His humour, questionable ideas, endless antics and ability to make even the toughest days enjoyable have been a huge part of what has helped shape Dubbo Yard Maintenance into what it is today.

Whether he’s making the team laugh, finding a way to turn a simple job into an adventure, or somehow ending up in situations no one else could, there’s never a dull moment when this do**us is around.

Behind all the craziness is a bloke who works hard, backs his team, cares about our clients and has put in countless hours helping build this business over the years.

🏥 A recent tidy-up at our local ambulance station! 🚑

A big focus on safety, presentation, and ongoing maintenance across the site.

✅ Hedges reduced back to a manageable maintenance height
✅ Multiple trailer loads of leaf litter removed
✅ Irrigation lines removed
✅ Damaged gum tree safely removed
✅ Gum trees and bottlebrush trees removed from front garden areas
✅ Shrubs tidied and reshaped
✅ River rocks removed to eliminate potential trip hazards
✅ Driveway overhanging branches trimmed back
✅ Large-scale reduction and reshaping of courtyard hedges
✅ Vegetation thinned throughout the property to improve access, visibility, and presentation

A great result that has the grounds looking neat, safe, and easy to maintain moving forward. Thanks to the team for another quality effort! 👏🌿

This rain has definitely developed a personality of its own lately... and we're not convinced it's a friendly one. 🌧️😂

Between the downpours, flooded areas and enough mud to swallow a set of boots, we've still been chipping away at jobs wherever we can. The crew has been making the most of every break in the weather to keep clients looked after and work moving forward.

Today's efforts included a couple of bogged rigs, some well-overdue drain clean-outs, and the usual battle against Mother Nature. Safe to say those drains are earning their keep now! 💦

At this point we're convinced the weather forecast is just a lucky guess. One minute the sun's out, the next we're wondering if we should've brought a boat instead of a trailer. 🚜🚤

We'll keep pushing through, rain, mud and all. Thanks to all our clients for their patience while this weather does whatever it feels like doing.

One of our larger property maintenance jobs recently, with a focus on tidying, opening up garden areas and getting everything back to a manageable standard. 🌿

The team tackled the entire property, mowing all lawn areas, the back paddock and animal run, along with slashing fence lines and cleaning up the front driveway. Garden beds were opened right up by exposing edges, completing line work throughout and removing unwanted grass plants, weeds and overgrown growth.

We removed the box hedges surrounding the front water feature, cleaned out old green waste that had been left behind in the rear garden beds and gave the hedges a much-needed shape and level where possible during the winter season.

The garden beds throughout the front and rear of the property were mulched to freshen everything up and help suppress future weeds. We also skirted all front trees, removed deadwood and low hanging branches, and completely removed a damaged tree from the front yard.

To finish things off, all manicured lawn areas were fertilised, the driveway was treated for weeds, branches and logs were removed from the paddock before slashing, leaf litter was cleared from around the property, and the roof was blown down to remove sticks and debris.

The front entrance received a tidy-up as well, with fresh mulch laid, debris removed and pavers exposed in preparation for a new driveway installation.

A solid effort from the boys and a great result heading into the cooler months. 👌🍃

🌧️ It’s been a busy few weeks with the amount of rain we’ve had across the region.

One of our valued clients reached out concerned about water making its way towards their classrooms. We quickly got a plan together, organised pumps, sourced additional equipment, and got the team on the ground to help minimise the risk of water entering the buildings.

A big thank you to the SES for their support. The boys headed down to collect sandbags and then spent hours filling, transporting and placing them where they were needed most. Combined with digging drainage trenches and setting up pumps, it was a great team effort to help redirect the water and protect the area.

We’re grateful we could lend a hand and help keep the site safe during some challenging weather conditions.

Well done to everyone involved. 💪🌧️🚜

Bit of a demolition session for the crew today 💥🛠️

This old shed had been absolutely eaten alive by termites and was well past saving. Time for a clean knock down and full removal to make way for a brand new shed to take its place 👌

Sometimes it’s not until you start pulling things apart you realise just how much damage termites can actually do 🐜😳

Safe dismantle, full clean up, rubbish removed and the site stripped back ready for the next stage 🙌

Out with the old, in with the new 🍻

Friday front yard sessions 🌿🔥

A couple of snaps from some of today’s jobs getting properties cleaned up, refreshed and ready for their next chapter 👌

One of the properties received a freshen up with the removal of old bark chip and an outdated concreted-in garden bed, replaced using only the best mulch getting around from The Landscape Centre - Dubbo🙌

We also removed some pesky yukkas and overgrown rosemary to help create a cleaner vision and open the space right up.

Across the jobs today we tackled:
🌳 Tree removals
🌿 Shrub and rose removals
🪴 Yukkas and suckers invading paths, pipes and fences
🚜 General vegetation clearing and reshaping

Sometimes stripping it back is the best way to bring a property back to life and create a blank canvas for something fresh 👌

Big week for the crew and still rolling into the weekend 💪

Not every job is just about the clean up ❤️

Out of respect for those involved we’ll be keeping the circumstances private, but we recently had the opportunity to work alongside a great local organisation to help clear out a property while also donating and paying it forward where possible 🤝

These types of jobs take more than just manpower. They take patience, understanding and a respectful approach every step of the way 🙏

Sorting through possessions, clearing the property and helping give some items a second life where we could ♻️🏡

Proud of the crew and grateful to be in a position where we can help support the community when it’s needed most 👏

Another one for the books 👌

When a new owner takes possession of a property, sometimes it’s a no brainer… strip it right back and start fresh. That’s where we step in.

This one had a bit going on. We removed a bottlebrush, palm, and a mix of overgrown shrubs, while uplifting neighbouring trees to clean it all up and give the place some breathing room 🌳✂️

Big focus here was working smart, not just hard. Instead of tearing the whole yard up with machinery, we took the careful route to retain as much grass as possible for the client. Bit more effort, but a far better result in the long run.

Out the back we got stuck into shed removals, pulled down the old roof antenna, and cleared out all the general rubbish that had been building up over the years.

And like most of these jobs… a few hidden surprises waiting for us underground 🤦‍♂️
Broken plaster, scrap metal, the odd needle… plus plenty of buried glass, plastics, and old building materials that had been completely grown over. Always a bit of a lucky dip on these ones.

End result - clean slate, safer space, and ready for whatever comes next 🔥
