Just remembered I better not let this one slip through the gaps, last weeks challenge was another cypress pine floor but this one was in a bad state, proper hacked up by some one very inexperienced on the sander. Yet again another legend to work for, wasn’t the best lighting for photos but you get the idea

Love a good before and after, we achieved a good result with this sad old cypress pine floor in Woorim this week. awesome people to do work for who really appreciate what we do. It’s a good feeling leaving a job knowing we did our best and that the owners are happy with where there hard earned has been spent.

Some people would reveal this floor and instantly think, ok so how do we cover this to make it look good. This is exactly the way this job went down. The day I quoted this job there was another bloke there quoting to overlay this floor with a hybrid floor or whatever the stuff is, but anyways. The owner took my advise and went ahead with us, having trust in what I had to say and the process. Not only was our job a few thousand $$$ cheaper, I feel we achieved an extremely good result, we retained the original floor with extensive sanding and refinished to our very high standard. Very proud of what we achieved and I hope this post can show some people your floor is not always a rite off we can work our wonders and in some situations save you some money on the end result 💪 these photos are not of the finished product but only the second coat. Sorry for the big post but I’m proud of this one for those of you who read this far.

Last week we got stuck in and gave this cypress floor a fresh look. We also refinished the stairs and exposed roof beams.

These guys have done an awesome job on there Reno and I’d say this is very close to the finishing touch.

We spent the good part of this week tearing back this orange out dated look on this tasi oak floor and stairs, giving it an all new lighter brighter more natural look. Definitely makes a massive difference to the overall feel and look of the house. The orange pictures are before we got stuck in

Some people get really lucky when they pull there old carpet up to find that an amazing floor lies beneath, this little house in Woodford had the floor make over by us this week giving this house its final touch for them to move in. Was a good combination of glue, staples, tacks, and sanded very poorly across the grain originally. Deep down I love a challenge and love turning these old floors into something that looks new. Couple of before photos at the end.

Recent floor we completed at braemore. 265mm wide blackbutt boards, such an awesome floor. Touch of whitener added to loba duo to tame down the yellow. Wish this floor was in my house
