A few before and after photos of a driveway we finished up earlier this week in Kew.
Here we removed part of the existing driveway in order to extend it for further parking, installed additional brick edging & drainage, as well as resurfacing another section of the driveway.

A perfect contrast to this classic red-brick, federation home.

Some before after photos of our red brick paving project. that was completed towards the end of last year in Preston.

The front yard consisting of a stretcher bond brick pad, surrounded by crushed granite pebbles. This was to allow extra parking/storage space in the front, while still maintaining general look of the area.

In the backyard, we replaced the original path that had cracked and sunk over a short amount of time due to lack of drainage allowed. To ensure the longevity of the path we concreted the sub-base, as well as added additional drainage under the lawn. Now the owners can rest assured, knowing the path won't quickly deteriorate and that water is no longer running under the deck and house.

Final driveway for the year complete at this lovely property in Eltham. This one spanning both the house and the adjoined unit.
Couldn't be happier with the way this job went from start to finish. Especially having such patient and understanding clients, who had to wait an extended period of time due to lockdowns and restrictions.
Now moving onto our ongoing and new projects in Essendon, Preston & Pascoe Vale South to see our the year!

Pool coping taking shape at our paving project in Essendon.
Lots of fun angles on this one doing their best to keep me up at night 🙃
Its all worth it in the end though as this pool was in need of a facelift! The new Dove-white Granite already smashing the outdated terracotta out of the park. Cant wait for the end result.

Another driveway in the books as ease out of restrictions!

The new driveway adding a nice and fresh look, as well as practically as we widened the entrance to allow for more off-street parking.

Preparation, preparation, preparation...
4 driveways and one paving base ready to pour, as we await further increase in vaccinations to hopefully allow the full crew back on site! Plenty more to go on with in the meantime as we head toward the Christmas rush!

We are fully booked in terms of landscaping work this side of Christmas at the moment, however still taking on jobs solely involving Asphalt driveways if you are interested.

Today we were able to put a bow on our Malvern project as restrictions eased for landscapers across Victoria.

Inspired by the design work of .overend we were able to give this courtyard a new life.
Featuring a wide range of tropical species, including Ligularia Reniformis, Philodendron Xanadu, Blechnum Gibbum and many more.

All tied together with an offset, slightly irregular pattern of Bluestone paving and Dichondra Repens.

One of my favourite jobs to be a part of so far and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! On to the next one as we inch closer to spring.

A few before & after photos from our Reservoir project. This time showcasing the facelift of the front garden.
After removing the unwanted plants (transplanting some) and soil, we filled there area back up with some premium garden soil.

The area features one of my favourite flowering trees the Lagerstroemia Indica ( Crepe Myrtle ), with underplanting of Mini Acacia Cognatas, border planting of 'Little Con' Lomandras and Clivia Miniatas in the shaded area along the wall.

The different shades of green will really liven up the area and add great contrast against the classic red brick walls, while the Crepe Myrtle brings a spectacular splash of colour in the summer.

An almost perfect end to the week as we finish up our project in Reservoir, with only the clouds dampening my already mediocre skills as a photographer!

However, its going to take more than some drab weather to hide the brilliant transformation that this space has undergone.

Using 800×400mm Bluestone from we were able to add a layer of texture and detail to a rather dull area, bringing it to life with a soon-to-be Ficus hedge and underplanting of Lomandra's, Gardenia's & Hebe's. Crushed Granite pebbles substitute as mulch to allow pets to roam freely without tracking mud back through the house, while also blending in seamlessly with the paving.
All in all a successful finish as we move on to our next project in Research!
