Requirements for Security Provider Roles in Queensland

Essential Certifications and Licences
• Valid Queensland Security Provider Licence (Class 1)
• Current Open Driver's Licence (Strictly required for Brisbane Patrol/Alarm Response roles)
• Current First Aid & CPR certifications

Key Skills and Attributes
• Excellent communication, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills
• Reliable transport and a professional attitude

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a long-standing member of the SKLD Security family, Michael Simpson.

​Michael was a cornerstone of our team for many years—a reliable colleague, a dedicated professional, and a true friend to us all.

His steady presence and kind nature left a lasting impact on everyone he protected and worked alongside.

​Beyond his uniform, Michael’s world revolved around his beloved dog, Cookie. We know that he will be missed profoundly by his little companion, just as much as he will be by his family and teammates.

​To the Simpson family:

Please accept our deepest condolences. We are incredibly grateful for the time we shared with Michael, and our thoughts are with you and Cookie during this difficult time.
