Working up the courage to brave the very cold weather and tag the dahlia plants before the next frost kills off the flowers! Long johns, thick socks, two jumpers and a wind proof jacket should do the trick - sorry not taking any pics

I had saved some seeds from last year, threw them around in the last row of the Dahlia patch and this is the result. Almost 11 kgs in 1 Queensland Blue! That’s a lot of Pumkin Soup, thai pumpkin soup, Thai Prawn and Pumpkin Curry, roast pumpkin and might even have a go at Pumpkin Scones and Pumpkin Pie - gonna be busy
