Always nice seeing these ladies in the garden.
Hope everyone in old Melbourne town are keeping cool.
Don't forget to water your plants, especially if they are looking a little heat stressed.
Slow running hose or preferably dripper systems are ideal as the water soaks into the soil rather than a quick hosing as water tends to run off too quickly.
And of course, mulch to keep moisture in and help protect roots from the heat 🔥

Plenty of Autumn leaves 🍂 still about.
Great for the garden but don't pile up too many on your garden as will hinder air flow to the earth.
Put excess into your compost bin with your Winter prunings, throw a few worms 🪱 in also.
Keep warm now.
