Removing an asbestos roof

Once all ppe in place and notifications are given.

Power/water/gas off.

Edge fall protection goes up.

Fasteners get removed.

Flashing nails removed.

Flashing removed onto tipper truck.

Sheets removed onto tipper truck.

Wrapped and labelled.

Taken to nearest disposal facility.

Insulation if any removed and bagged/wrapped and labelled.

Genarator on.

Hclass vacuum used to clean roof cavaity.

Photos taken before during and after for evidence of removal.

Once clean and asbestos removed inspection clearance certificate completed.

Area is safe to enter.

New roofing

We can organise a new colorbond roof by a qualified carpenter and plumber.
Or removal only.

Steps we take to remove an asbestos fence.

Once all ppe is in place and notifications given.

Remove all fasteners, place into a bucket for disposal.

Remove capping.

Dig along fence with excavator (or by hand where we cant access) 600mm-800mm deep until bottom of sheets.

Remove whole sheet.

Take to tipper truck where it gets wrapped and labelled.

Take to nearest disposal facility.

Backfill hole.

Inspection and clearance certificate complete site safe to enter.

Photo evidence of removal process before, during, end.

Be safe be sure remove the aging asbestos around your house.

We can also quote on a new fence.

You can not visually confirm something is asbestos. You can make an educated assumption the only way to identify asbestos is to have it tested.

What are the steps I need to take
To remove your asbestos.

First I need to view the asbestos.
I can organise testing. Or
Give you a quote for removal.
Once quote is agreed to,

I draw up a site plan, fill out an asbestos removal control plan, send the paper work with all my licences and qualifications to worksafe for notification of removal 5 days prior to the removal. I give notification of removal to neighbours. Once removed I'll contact another independent licensed contractor for final inspection and sign the clearance certificate. Photos taken. Before and after removal.
