Bees and other pollinators play an important role in healthy ecosystems, helping pollinate flowers, crops, and plants that support both wildlife and people.
But habitat loss, lack of flowering plants, and chemical use are making it harder for pollinators to thrive.
A few simple things can make a real difference:
🌼 Plant a variety of flowers to provide nectar and pollen across seasons
💧 Leave out shallow water with pebbles or stones for bees to safely land on
🚫 Avoid or reduce chemical sprays where possible
🌱 Allow parts of your garden to grow a little more naturally
You don’t need a huge garden to help. A verge, raised bed, balcony pot, or small patch of flowers can still provide valuable food and habitat for pollinators. Every flower counts.
