Another new build prepared for a professional security and communications installation by Monitor Security.

During construction, we completed the pre-wire for both the CCTV system and video intercom, ensuring all cabling is concealed within the walls and roof space before plastering and final fit-off.

Planning security infrastructure during the construction phase results in a cleaner installation, improved reliability, and a more professional finish once the devices are installed.

This installation was pre-wired during construction, allowing all cabling to be concealed within the walls and roof space for a clean, professional finish.

Another project coming together nicely 👌
This one has been a great job to work on from the ground up. We started by designing a full security solution alongside the builder/home owner, then completed all the prewiring during construction.
Now we’re into the final stages with: • Ajax alarm system installed
• Hikvision intercom system mounted
• CCTV cameras fitted and configured
• System testing and setup underway
Still a few finishing touches to go once the builder completes their part, but it’s all starting to come together and looking great so far.
It’s always rewarding seeing a job progress from planning and rough-in through to the final install.

Is your security system only recording crime… or helping prevent it? 🚨
With recent reports of break-ins, it’s got me thinking — I’ve watched clips shared on the 7 and 9 News pages where cameras captured the incidents clearly, but in many cases there were no visible deterrents like flashing lights, warning sirens or alarm activation.
Many homes now have cameras, but often they’re only recording what happens after the fact.
Active deterrent cameras and a properly designed alarm system can add another layer of protection — helping discourage intruders, provide early detection and trigger instant alerts.
If you’ve got cameras but no alarm, it may be worth asking whether your system is protecting you… or just recording events.
