Gore Earthmoving was established in the early 1980’s and is now a large earthmoving company completing agricultural and civil construction projects throughout south west Queensland and northern NSW. Our earthmoving fleet comprises scrapers, dozers, excavator, graders, tractor and laser bucket, water trucks, rollers, compactors, loaders and road train side tippers as well as a comprehensive heavy h

aulage fleet available for any job. Our excellent reputation for efficient and professional performance is reflected in the strong client relationships which have developed over many years. We can help with a wide range of services including but not limited to:

Irrigation Developments and Major Redevelopments including clearing, levee banks, supply channels, return drains, reservoirs, laser levelling and the construction of ring tanks. Civil Construction including raw water ring tanks, environmental dams, sedimentation ponds and tailings dams. Many of these projects are required to meet design and engineering specifications. Heavy Haulage including moving our own machinery between jobs but also external work shifting machinery for other contractors. Side Tippers. We have the ability to operate either single or road train side tippers for works loading and carting gravel, rock or other material. TRACTOR LASER BUCKET OPERATOR

Are you an experienced and reliable operator looking to join a professional team in the earthmoving industry?

We are currently seeking a skilled Tractor & Laser Bucket Operator to assist with a variety of earthmoving and land preparation projects.

About the Role:

As a key part of our operations team, you’ll be responsible for operating tractors fitted with laser buckets to achieve precision land leveling and site preparation. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate tractor and laser bucket equipment for earthmoving and land leveling

Read and interpret plans, laser levels, and site specifications

Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance

Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members

Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely

Requirements:

Proven experience operating tractors and laser buckets in the earthmoving or agricultural sector

Current driver’s licence (HR licence desirable)

Strong understanding of GPS or laser-controlled systems

Good communication skills and a team player attitude

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

White Card (Construction Induction) preferred
