I've been carving in different forms for a few years now including whittling, power carving and now chainsaw carving. This was my first chainsaw carving commission for my good friend Greg Taylor who used to be a navy deep sea salvage diver. Just completed this deck renovation. A large tree root had slowly lifted the middle of the deck lifting a support stirrup off the rock and causing a terrible bow. New stirrups mounted in the rock, deck shape modified and reinforced, metal posts were refinished and pained and new beautiful spotted gum decking and rails installed. Finished this giant garden staircase a few months ago. Clients now have easy access to the bottom half of their block. All material had to be carried down 65 stairs to the start of the staircase, very sloping sight with loose dirt and lots of rock! Clients very happy with the job. This client has had all terrible water ingress issues due to poor building practices. Water has been building up behind this house and seeping in through the garage, and lower level. The access behind the house was extremely tight. Sand build up was hand shovelled and bucketed out. New submersible pump was installed inside custom narrow encolusure.

Replaced this failed Bianco pump with a premium Grundfos pressure pump complete with new pump cover and plumbing.

Had the pleasure of turninf an unused void into an aesthetically pleasing firepit area. Area was. Layered in weedmat, filled with pebbles, then an l shape outdoor seat was constructed with h4 sleepers and leftover merbau hardwood. Screens were mounted on the fence. Client sanded and oiled hardwood and dressed up with cushions, firepit and planters.
