🥤 COLA PLANT 🥤
We haven't had the cola plant (Artemisia abrotanum ‘Maritima’) in stock for a little while, but it always remains a favourite of ours!

We will have these and plenty of other goodies at the Goulburn Rotary Markets tomorrow! 8.30am - 1.30pm

Aroma: The young leaves at branch tips exude a sweet, herbal cola-lemon scent.

Growth: Typically grows into a bushy subshrub ranging from 60 cm to 1.5 m in height. It produces small, insignificant yellow flowers in the summer and early autumn.

Flavour: The aromatic young tips can be used fresh or dried. The remaining mature parts of the plant turn bitter and are not recommended for consumption.

Infusions: Fresh sprigs can be steeped in cold water, iced tea, or cocktails to impart a soft, herbal cola aroma.

Savoury Pairings: It adds a unique flavor dimension when used sparingly in sauces, poultry dishes, or tossed with broad beans

Tomorrow is market day! We can't wait to see you all 🥰

Saturday is Goulburn Rotary Markets day and is shaping up to be a 17 degree Winter's day.

Join our makers, producers and all round wonderful stallholders for a great community day out.

Some of our regulars are away, but we have some newbies joining us, with Goulburn Club on the tunes, Goulburn Centre RDA NSW on the BBQ, and a new foodie to check out.

Best of all, our friendly Rotarians from Rotary Club of Goulburn would love to see you, and our book stall is fully stocked for some treasures you didn't know you needed.
