Hello and Welcome to Kaunis Candles! Hi I'm Mel, the owner and curator of everything wax and glitter related you see here. I am a mum to 4 amazing kids & a wife of the most amazing, supportive and very crafty husband. A few years ago, we moved to Gympie to be nearer to our loved ones. It is a beautiful little town. It makes my heart so happy to be able to share my joy, love and
absolute passion with you. Burning candles has always elevated my experiences. Be it reading a good book, taking a quiet bath or snuggling on the couch with the kids watching a movie. Bringing back memories or creating them. Our sense of smell is a wonderful thing!💜
About Kaunis, I chose the name Kaunis to not only be a little different but because we had our honeymoon in Finland. Finland is Beautiful! See what I did there? Everything is handmade by me so you may see some minor imperfections here and there. My hands shake so you'll see the occasional over pour mishap.💜

I make a range of gorgeously scented Candles, Snap Bars and Novelty Melts using a Soy/Paraffin blend, with the majority being Soy. The wax is formaldehyde free, natural, not organic, not food grade. No animal products used in manufacturing and no animal testing. The fragrances are Vegan, Cruelty free, Paraben free and Phthalate free. Bio Glitter (made from plants) is used in the candles and Cosmetic (recycled plastic) in the wax melts. All of the packing materials used for your orders are recycled from orders I receive. 💜
