Just completed a wonderful house in West Hobart!
This job has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge room and a hallway in the original part of the home, which has had its old ceiling pulled down and a replaced with a new. The ceilings have been dropped done and re-insulated with R.6 ceiling batts!
The new part of the home includes laundry, rumpus room and another bed room. This part of the home has had the ceilings dropped using a rondo key-lock system allowing the ceiling heights in the whole house to match. This area also has R.6 ceiling batts and R2.5 in the walls.

This job also required a bit of magic as the old fire place has been removed and had to be patched back in, expect the walls had been finished with swirl like texture finish that had to be replicated!! And If I do say so my self, it has come up looking mint!!!

Started the week off with finishing a new ceiling in a kitchen and lounge room.
I have also added a return window to give it a nice clean look. Very happy with how neat and clean this job has come up!

Last week i completed a lovely new reno/extension in Lindisfarne. This job had me suspending the entire new lounge room/ kitchen so the owner had a new flat ceiling aslo we have tear away beads around all the windows to give it that modern look and also a skylight in the new sun room to brighten up a wicked space. This job had lots going on and plenty on details that I'm sure the builder and owner are very happy with!

Over the last few months of last year we had the pleasure of working on some more detailed jobs, they may not have been massive projects but had plenty of detail involved.
The first was an electric fire place that was exposed from the wall and the clients wanted it plastered and to be given a cleaner look. So we got this dome with external, tear aways and shadow beads to give it new clean look.
The second job we done was a couple of dorma windows, this involved ripping out the old ones and resheeting and re trowleing them.
This job had a lot details, including bullnose externals meeting Slade external and curved ceilings. We also finished these off with a lvl finish on the inside, a lot of time and trials and effort went into getting them perfect for the clients. Very happy with how both these jobs finished up!!

A lovely new addition and use of space in this house in old beach, with turning the old garage into a large rumpus room and a man cave for both the kids and adults to enjoy.
With 2.7 and 2.4 ceilings it really opens up the space.
Another wicked job done for Smets Building!

Finished a wicked new bar area for a bloke In Grove over looking his lovely farm. Keen to see it all completed with a few cold ones.

Recently we have completed a reno down at Port Arthur, this involved a new kitchen, pantry and a redoing the bathrooms. This included high ceilings and racked ceilings and a few little bulkheads. Very happy with how this has come up!

We are very happy with how this kitchen reno has turned out! This reno started with ripping all the cornice down and square setting everything to make it new and modern. This reno also has 2 returned windows done with externals and tearaway, to give it a clean finish against the windows. We have a recessed cupboard with a nice 20mm shadow finish and a recessed shelf above the kitchen bench for storage. We even decided to get rid of the timber beams and give them a new clean modern look by re sheeting and externaling them. The clients are very happy with the completed job and are glad to have a new kitchen.

A massive week done at Brisbane Street! This job has a lot going on, we have R5 ceiling insulation throughout all the ceilings, R2.5 insulation for all the internal and external walls to ensure the house stays warm in winter.
The finishes on this extension are a P50 (10mm shadow line) bead (about 70metres) around all the doors and windows to give it a slick and modern look. We also have two skylights, one in the bathroom and one in the laundry to allow some natural light into the rooms. Overall I am very happy with the finished product and loved the challenge with the the beads! Always fun doing something different!

We had the pleasure of plastering a 40ft containing last week. This container has been converted into a tiny home consisting of a bedroom, loungeroom/kitchen and bathroom/laundry. We have giving it a neat finish with tear away beads around all the windows and a clean square set finish, we even done two returned niches in the bedroom above the bed. Clients are very happy with the finished product.

Finished the month off with a lovely 2 bedroom, walking robe and an ensuite extension to a home in old beach! The clients are very pleased with the finally result and can't wait to get it painted and move in!
