It’s that time of year where I dust off the thatcher and prepare my back and knees for a spring of aches and pains.

I’ll be aiming to get all lawns done in October and November so they are in tip top shape for Christmas. This will allow for enough time to prep a nice cricket pitch so you can bowl those yorkers at grandma. 🏏

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve got on the socials!

I’ve had a pretty sh*tty year so far! Gone from a fractured wrist in my left hand to two torn ligaments in my right 🤦🏽‍♂️

You’re all probably well aware I’ve branched out and gone back into the environmental space doing contract spraying. This has been an idea of mine well before gardening and is the main reason for a reduce in gardening capacity. And therefore I’m mostly taking on commercial gardening only with only a handful of private customers.

I still encourage enquires as there’s a big chance I have a spare day here n there. And worst case scenario I’ll refer you to some other local gardeners who I trust!

I’ll be still going full throttle on the thatcher come spring time (post to come)

Thatched the great man Simons lawns this morning. Simon will go down as one of Horsham’s greatest publicans having previously owned the Bull and Mouth Hotel for many years.

It was nice to recoup a small amount of money from him, but he’s definitely got 5k and a 100 hangovers over me.

Can’t wait to see his lawn progress so he doesn’t have to keep saying “I have the sh*ttest lawn in the neighbourhood”

De thatched this monster lawn for my mate Woody today. Talk about criminal. On a Sunday, when I was meant to be at church.

It must be very very nice having a lawn like this though 👌🏽

I’ll be firing up the thatcher in October through to end of Jan. If you want this done pre Christmas get in quick as lawns require roughly 6 weeks to fully recover!

You’ll often see Simon with me on Wednesdays helping me out. Sim services the southern mallee area every other day.

I don’t have any customer testimonials on his work but I do have this word for word quote on his looks.
