Seedy Adventures with the Bindjareb Rangers! ๐ฑ
PHCC, in partnership with Nuts About Natives, Formosa Flora, and Curtin University, recently completed a hands-on, three-day seed collection and processing training with the Winjan Bindjareb Boodja Rangers and Harvey Waroona Rangers
The team gathered seeds from native species along the Serpentine River, learning both scientific and traditional methods for extraction. These seeds will be stored and later planted in local restoration projects to help provide critical habitats for native wildlife, including Black Cockatoos.
