With the cooler months still on the way, now’s the perfect time to get everything in motion—building, setting up, and preparing the greenhouse for what’s ahead. Laying the groundwork now means when the seasons shift, everything will be ready to thrive.

Our Stapelia has just put on a full bloom, and we captured the entire timelapse — from tight bud to that unreal, star-shaped flower you see here.

If you know, you know… these are some of the most fascinating blooms in the succulent world. The intricate veining, that soft textured surface, and the way the flower slowly opens is honestly hypnotic.

Yes — it’s a carrion flower 😉 so don’t expect it to smell like roses… but that’s all part of the magic. These guys are pollinated by flies, and everything about them is perfectly evolved for it.
