Everything that is real was once imagined! - Margery Williams, 1922.

Here is the first realisation I gave to the piano on February 5th.

Just 4 months later it is being played in the street 😊

Piano’s are delicate instruments with many internal moving parts.

Far from just a piece of furniture. Atmosphere and moving them can affect their tuning. 🎶🤨

Kyogle has a very dedicated piano tuner who has been working really hard to prepare the piano for the street with extra insulation, vermon proofing etc.

Last night, (Tuesday)Anna generously popped in visit the piano to get a few notes back in tune that fell out whilst it was being pushed into the street.

She ‘noted’ 🎵 that the more it gets played the better it will sound. After long periods of not being played, pianos need to be played to free up the strings.

The great news is that thanks to ALL the piano love ❤️ 🩵💚 through the week the piano is loosening up.

There is one pin broken on the inside so that note will have difficulty being tuned - without more involved work. Be kind.

Yesterday Anna generously took the time to give a next gen tuner some lessons. The gift that keeps on giving.

Please 🎵 note: Anna cannot take responsibility for changes to the tuning if & when the piano is moved ‘after’ her tuning work is done.
