Sunset at Salmon Rocks

Any of my East Gippy friends regularly feel smug about living in the most beautiful place on earth?

Of all the places I’ve travelled, nowhere has ever come close to having it all. The beaches, the bush, the waterfalls and rainforests.. the untouched wildness of it all. To be able to walk and just ‘be’ in places so stunningly pristine and beautiful, and to often not even see another soul when you’re there.

We are so incredibly privileged to call this place home. 🍃

I painted this piece after returning from a week camping beside a river. No one around, no phone service. No idea of the time, and no where to be. Disconnected bliss.
