Standard ceiling height, original 60s home without much character - the potential is still there to be beautiful ✨️

In this case, we kept things neutral as we knew it wasn't a forever home, but the use of texture + colours other than white helped elevate it to something that made the small area feel a bit magical ✨️

Hard to reach storage, annoyingly placed doors + difficult to clean tracks are now a thing of the past for Mum + Dad!

We tweaked the layout to now have a tall cupboard accessed from the hallway, installed some Ikea joinery that includes a hamper drawer + made a custom timber curved shelf to add a bit of warmth. Their dryer used to be outside, so we brought that in too.

Whether you're giving it a go yourself or have hired someone to do it for you, please make sure these things are right before the tiling starts! Unfortunately you can't assume the person you have hired has checked, and the consequences later on can be very expensive + difficult to rectify!
