The Bag Hate Project

The Bag Hate Project The idea for this project came after thinking about how to travel while doing something useful at the same time.

The journey of 3 French eco-surfers in Indonesia (Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa) starting in October 2017 which aim is to work with associations and be involved in ocean protection and against plastic pollution with concrete actions. As surfers, we love the ocean and protecting the environment we are evolving in is really important for us. Indonesia is a country of diversity and with its thousands of isla

nds, it has dreamful landscapes from the coast to the inland. We chose to travel around Bali, Lombok and Sumbawa. We want this trip to be fun and add to it a meangful project so we can get awesome experiences from it. The project will be taken seriously and will be well organised. We want these 45 days of travel to be intense and rich.

Fin du trip en Indonésie, on gardera de très bons souvenirs de ce pays rempli de magie ! Sur la route entre Bali, Lombok et Sumbawa, l'équipe a vécu des moments incroyables !
De retour en Australie, on prépare un petit film pour conclure cette aventure... 🌴🏄🙏🌈

Day 1 at Desert Point, Lombok :
This day when we arrived, the ocean was totally flat... Then all of a sudden, around middle afternnon when the tide started to rise, we began to see some sets coming in. An hour later, 8 feet crazy barreling waves were coming through at a steady pace and everybody was getting his piece of cake.
What an awesome place, filled with crazy stories, local people were incredibly nice and everybody was respecteful in and out of the water.

For our last weekend in Bali, we are volunteering at the along with promoting the event with photos and videos !
The festival occurs in Ubud which is a famous location for its rice fields, monkey forest and yoga retreats !
It is the perfect place to spend our last days on this beautiful island before heading to Lombok.🏄 .
