So big news from last night…

Tayla, our newest Trade Qualified Electrician, took out the 2026 Apprentice of the Year at the Tafe Queensland Fraser Coast Apprentice & Trainee Awards. We couldn’t be prouder of Tayla, an asset to our team. Here’s a pic of Tayla receiving her award from David Lee, Member for Hervey Bay.

Axe Con is looking for a new Apprentice Carpenter.

Must fit the below requirements,
- Young hard working
- Motivated male or female
- Positive attitude to learning new skills
- School based considered
- Drivers licence and vehicle preferred

We do a wide range of carpentry and construction work in Hervey Bay and Maryborough - extensions/renovations, bathrooms, new builds and everything in between, Including concreting, wetsealing, tiling, roofing, landscaping and the odd friday pub lunch.
