What happens when you run a $3,000 fuzz pedal into an already cranked 6V6 tube amp? 🔥
The Achillies Apollo Quad is already producing plenty of its own natural saturation here, running through our Phoenix 4x10 loaded with four Jensen P10/40 Blackbirds.
Then we bring in the Cesar Diaz Texas Square Face to push it even harder — followed by the Strymon Volante Magnetic Echo Machine, which adds a completely different dimension to the sound.
The pedals aren't creating the foundation of the tone. The Apollo Quad is already doing that. They're taking an already cranked tube amp somewhere else.
