It’s been a while .This renovation was completed on Jan 4 to try level joins and fill low spots as not done when installed by builder and then winter happened. 8m3 waste and 5 m3 sand. The client is ecstatic with current pics last.

To say I’m shattered is the realistic truth. Ordered triple wash sandpit sand and once levelled found it was like filter sand it had so many pebbles in it. The customer cylinder mows(last pic) and this would destroy it. So I blew,and raked it,vacuumed,mowed and then today hired help to finish the naturestrip and go over everything again. We removed 99% and will return for a different supplier to topdress again.

The sir grange zoysia has come out of winter and had its first cut in 4 months. First pic is fresh cut to on arrival. Still able lift the slabs in spots but used the backpack blower to clean and stand it up then mowed. Very minimal but definitely looks healthier and exposed new growth hidden underneath.

Although my domestic renovation season won’t start till mid October due to soil temps inhibiting recovery and turf health,I knocked this out today for our friends over at TCS. Triple scarify and clean the 4 table wicket area before the new curator smashes it down and prepares for the season ahead.

Fescue rescue complete. Over 6 visits it’s had hand w**d summergrass around base of trees, solid tine aeration, scarify, fertilizer, hollow tine core, grub knockdown, wetting agents ,fungicide application and lotsa water. Broadleaf and some moss to eliminate but I’m happy. Overseed next for the owner. 8 weeks difference roughly.

Full day on my hands and knees of hand w**ding again. So much nutgrass and removing mulch from above grafts on the plants. Blowing stones from drive out of the tif tuf edges. It looks like nothing but let me say it’s not easy. Even with the wolfgarten hand tools. Couple kgs of freehand pre emergent applied to help moving forward.
