It’s been a while since I last posted!
Here is a prime example why the following steps are a must when restoring a decking!!!
Don’t be fooled into just sanding back the decking and coating.
Sanding previous coating doesn’t achieve this finish. With decking oil it penetrates into the timber meaning by sanding it doesn’t remove all the oil.
Our steps followed to achieve the decking looking like new again are
Step 1- apply stripper and pressure wash it off (removes water based and some oil coatings)
Step 2- apply deep wood cleaner and pressure wash off (draws all the oil fro the timber to the surface)
Step 3- apply rejuvenator then wash off (removes oil that’s been drawn to the surface restoring the timber to original colour)
Step 4- sand
Step 5- apply Haymes Uvex primer
Step 6/7 apply 2 coats Haymes Uvex Stain

If your interested in getting your decks restored or have an enquiries please contact. Happy to help but please don’t be sucked into just sanding it.
You will never achieve this finish and your money washed down the drain

Job completed couple of weeks ago for Jo and dale in Eynesbury. Absolute pleasure working for you both. Also along side with Cable Dan Antennas & TV Mounting. Been waiting for floating cabinet to be installed to finish off this cosy renovation, with winter settling in couldn’t think of a better place to chill in front of!

This is what you don’t achieve when just sanding a decking. Deep wood cleaned was applied after the decking was stripped.
The dark boards is the deep wood cleaner, it draws all the oils to the surface of the timber then with the rejuvenator is applied and a scrub the oils are removed and timber decking is restored like new!

So don’t get fooled by company’s just sanding. Get it done right. Only the best products used with long last durability against UV

Previously poorly stained.
The handywoman kept darkening the stain each coat to hide there poor workmanship. Charged the clients ridiculous amount with no clue what she was doing!

Full restoration with it stripped, deep wood clean and rejuvenated in a days work
Front decking tomorrow not much better then the back. Done by the same handywoman 🤷🏼‍♂️

MAINTAINING YOUR DECKING
Deckings are a great feature, look amazing but do require cleaning and coating every year.
Letting it go to have it weathered, fade and look ran down!
What we do after decks are restored that clients to give us a call when it comes time to do a yearly coat to ring or even tackle it yourself.
The process is as simple as a quick wash down and coating it the next day!
We charge an hourly rate + materials so you save thousands

Urban finishes uses only HAYMES UVEX as it’s by far the best product and lasts. It does require a primer as first coat and is a 3 coat system with 2x finish coats when restored but only a finish coat for
Maintaining!
Most oils and other brands are lucky to last 6 months and need re-coating.
NOT HAYMES UVEX.
18 month re-coat so yes it is a bit more expensive but outlasts any other product.

DECKS had Viccon Deck And Fence Deep Wood Clean now this is the Rejuvenator restoring the timber to its natural colour!
If you are using someone who’s just sanding the decking it’s not solving the problem and your deck will only take weeks to look s**t again!
