Ginger & Garlic Salmon
Today I cooked Ginger & Garlic Salmon. The salmon is pan-fried until golden, then cooked with fragrant ginger and garlic and finished with a simple soy sauce glaze. Easy, flavorful, and perfect with steamed rice! 🐟🧄🫚🍚✨
Ingredients
Salmon fillets
Salt and pepper, to taste
For Frying
3½ tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
2 slices ginger
4 garlic cloves, sliced
For the Sauce
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tsp sugar
Method
Season both sides of the salmon with salt and pepper.
Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Place the salmon in the pan and fry one side until golden brown.
Turn the salmon over, then add the ginger and garlic to the pan.
Continue cooking until the salmon is fully cooked through and the ginger and garlic are fragrant and nicely browned.
In a small bowl, mix the light soy sauce and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
Pour the sauce into the pan and cook for 1–2 minutes, allowing it to coat the salmon.
Serve hot with steamed rice and vegetables.
