At Pharmacy 777 Pascoe Vale, we believe healthcare is for everyone.

That’s why we were proud to sponsor the Rotary District Conference and contribute to important conversations around diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Strong communities are built when people from different backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and perspectives feel seen, heard, and valued.

As a community pharmacy, we have the privilege of caring for people from all walks of life every day. Those conversations remind us that inclusion isn’t just a concept. It’s something we practise through empathy, understanding, and genuine connection.

Thank you to Rotary for creating a space where these conversations can happen and where diverse voices can be celebrated.

Because healthier communities start with inclusive communities.

You can care deeply about your patients and still have boundaries.

In fact, you need both.

Rule #4 of my Patient Engagement Series:

Be accessible, but maintain boundaries.

Many healthcare professionals struggle with this.

We want to help everyone.
Fix every problem.
Be available all the time.

But caring for others doesn’t mean sacrificing yourself.

You can’t pour from an empty cup.

The goal isn’t to care less.

The goal is to care sustainably.

Because the patients who need you tomorrow need you to still be well today.

Episode 5 drops next Tuesday, where I’ll share the final rule of patient engagement and the question every healthcare professional should ask themselves after every patient interaction.

Leadership is all about accountability. So today I’d like to formally acknowledge that the problem was me. Thank you for attending this investigation.😅

Behind every award is a story.

A story of early mornings and late nights.
A story of challenges overcome, sacrifices made, and countless decisions taken in the best interests of patients, communities, research, education, and our profession.

Congratulations to Suzanne Nielsen, John Jackson, pooja sharma, Namira Tasnia Ahmed, and Alexander Look on your well-deserved recognition at the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia Victorian Awards. Your achievements are incredibly inspiring!

To everyone in that room, and to pharmacists across Victoria and Australia, thank you.

Thank you for the care you provide.
Thank you for the standards you uphold.
Thank you for continuing to push our profession forward.

I left the evening feeling incredibly proud to be part of a profession filled with people who dedicate their lives to improving the lives of others.

I heard something in a Jay Shetty and Tony Robbins conversation that is worth sharing:

“The only people without problems are in the grave.”

Every person you admire has problems.

Parents have problems.
Students have problems.
Healthcare professionals have problems.
Leaders have problems.

The goal isn’t to eliminate problems.

The goal is to become better at navigating them.

One of the biggest challenges I see today is overthinking.

We wait for certainty before making a move.

But certainty rarely comes first.

Decision comes first.
Action comes next.
Clarity follows.

What’s one decision you’ve been putting off?

Thank you to UA Manufacturing Pty Ltd for inviting me to visit and learn more about the incredible work being done by the team.

I am particularly grateful to Liliana Zanon and Robert Zanon for their warm welcome, generosity, and for taking the time to share their vision, expertise, and passion for what they do.

It was a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the innovation and commitment that sits behind Australian manufacturing, while exploring opportunities for collaboration and shared impact.

The best partnerships often begin with conversations, curiosity, and a willingness to learn from one another. I am excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to continuing the conversation.

Do you want to leave a legacy?

Do you want to be remembered?

Do you want to make a real impact?

Then make it bigger than yourself.

The real flex isn’t status, titles, followers, or recognition.

It’s helping someone believe in themselves.
It’s opening doors for others.
It’s creating opportunities.
It’s making people feel seen, valued, and capable of more than they thought possible.

Because at the end of the day, your success is measured not by how high you climb, but by how many people rise because you were there.

That’s real
That’s real
That’s real
