Fully qualified Joiner DLCB Joinery Pty Ltd, the leading manufacturer of custom timber doors and windows on the Central Coast, are now supplying joinery architectural timber products not only to our mainstream everyday client but to a high-end client database which includes tender bidding and supplying right across Sydney, ACT, Central Coast and Regional NSW. Being in this exciting growth phase, we are looking for a number of enthusiastic, experienced timber craftsmen to join our team working from our Gosford and Wyong Factories.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
· Following production drawings to determine materials required, dimensions and construction procedures
· Assembling prepared components into windows and doors to form structures and fittings ready to install
· Manage workload efficiently and meet timing requirements of products
· Work at a steady, productive pace at all times
· Follow all NSW Workplace safety requirements
Skills and Experience:
· Must have Drivers Licence – Driving of manual work Ute highly regarded
· Experience working with timber (preferably in factory environment)
· CNC Machine trained and experienced
· First rate machining and craftsmanship skills
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
· Ability to problem solve
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instruction
· Maintenance of joinery machinery
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
· Timber selection skills
· Glazing experience preferred but not essential
· Must be physically fit to lift and carry heavy doors and windows
