Looking for low‑care, cascading plants that thrive in Perth? These three are tough, drought‑friendly and great for borders, pots or cascading over walls:

Casuarina 'Cousin It' — dense, fine, weeping foliage that forms a soft, carpet‑like cascade; superb as a low hedge or spillover from raised beds.

Acacia 'Limelight' — vibrant lime‑green cascading habit that brightens shady or sun‑splashed spots and contrasts beautifully with darker foliage.

Dichondra 'Silver Falls' — striking silvery trailing foliage, ideal for sunny, dry spots, pots or rockeries and excellent at softening edges.

Planting tips: full sun to part shade, well‑drained soil, mulch to retain moisture, and low‑frequency deep watering once established. Perfect for Perth’s hot, dry summers — low maintenance but high impact.
