Zonta Club of Mount Isa is still looking for locals to put their hand up for this year’s Rodeo Queen Quest 👑 with President Nikki Rowsell saying they’d love to have four or five entrants.
💛“We’d love to get the Quest up and running by February, that way they’ve got quite a few months to raise funds.”
“People might feel Mount Isa is not in the best place at the moment and whether they’d get the support and the sponsorship… [but] we were in the same situation last year and the entrants did a fantastic job.”
As well as fundraising for local charities 🤝 Mrs Rowsell said the Quest is about stepping outside your comfort zone, building confidence, and giving back to the community.
“The fact that the girls did raise so much last year might be a bit daunting for people… but don’t let that put you off… even a small amount of money can make a huge difference.”
📌 To qualify for judging, entrants need to raise a minimum of $5,000. 🎀
