Iā€™m excited to be part of the Sunshine Coast Art & Design Fair in a couple of months!
Organised by MADE Sunshine Coast this two-day event will feature local artists, specialty designers, and unique creators.
It will take place at The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard, which is a treat in itself!
The event allows visitors to engage with each artist, enjoy food, wine, and the amazing views of the Glasshouse Mountains
Iā€™m looking forward to seeing this venue turned into an art space for the weekend!

Thereā€™s something special about seeing an artwork in a gallery.

But thereā€™s something even more special about meeting the artist behind it.

From 4 August to 13 September, the Cooroy Butter Factory becomes a place to do just that, with its Studio & Gallery Program, bringing together a wonderful collection of artists and giving visitors the opportunity to step a little closer into their creative worlds.

The program invites you to experience more than the finished artwork. Come and immerse yourself in the artistsā€™ work, discover the stories and ideas behind their pieces, and, where available, talk with the artists themselves about their processes, materials, inspirations and the sometimes wonderfully unpredictable journey from an idea to a finished work.

And perhaps to see art a little differently once youā€™ve heard the story that lives behind it.

If you love art, making, experimenting and discovering how artists turn an idea into something tangible, this is one to put on your calendar.

Back to what I love! Illustrating, and I love that I can do this on clay. I couldnā€™t wait to try some new tools today and have to say I was impressed with this really fine needle tool.
