With a Scottish upbringing, soil on my hands is the least of my worries. I've just got to be careful not to lick my fingers.

I do like to look, feel, and smell what I'm working with.
The pandanus leaves are glove positive without a doubt.

I did this certificate in nutritional farming with NutriTech Solutions. It helped enhance my horticultural knowledge and was a great course to refresh my basic understanding of plant and human health requirements.

It has spurred me to further use various beneficial soil fertilisers and amendments. I have started a renewed interest in my fruit, veggies and compost at home. I’m seeing some pretty quick results from my efforts.

The thing is, it has been a reminder to enjoy the garden. That’s my main thing, for people to enjoy their setting, whatever they do; however, they want the garden to look.

Enjoy your garden but make the garden friendly for yourself, your plants and all the other little visitors we may or may not see.
