Well…. Habitat Plant House has received its first 1-Star ⭐️ review.
Sadly, sometime Sunday night/early morning, our premise was broken into via window. Fortunately, no plants were damaged or stolen.
Unfortunately, the till cash was. Not too much, but still.
Look….im tempted to be very upset and suspicious of every sketchy-looking person on our street, but I resist. It could have been much worse, I could have been grabbed off the street by ICE agents and disappeared into some detention facility due to my “questionable citizenship “.
But I know this community pretty well now, and I know most everyone I meet everyday are wonderful people just getting by in this world, no matter what they look like. Whoever did this may be caught, but I mostly hope that they may be healed from the events and life that led them to do this.
As for me and the business, I’m working on it (the window). IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION OR CCTV FOOTAGE THAT MAY ASSIST, please let me know.
But DO REFRAIN from scapegoating or making wild accusations towards anyone because of this without solid proof. I won’t tolerate it.
We may be closed on Wednesday due to this, but we’ll see.
