Challenge Bricks and Roofing has over 40 years of experience in the Roofing industry and has grown to become one of the largest and most respected Roofing Company’s in the South Eastern suburbs. Ron Thompson (Director) of Challenge Bricks and Roofing began his career with Wunderlich Terracotta Roof Tiles. During this period Ron worked on many big projects and specialised in steep pitched roofs, Tu

rrets and in that time he achieved high standards of workmanship. Ron has at the same time also trained many tradesmen in high quality workmanship. In 1989 Ron opened Challenge Roofing, for approximately the next ten years on a hands on level he serviced many builders and owner builders in the South Eastern suburbs by installing roofs to the highest industry standards. After retiring from the tools, Ron has grown Challenge Roofing by incorporating other products and creating the display centre at 403 Princes Hwy Officer. The business is now known as Challenge Bricks and Roofing and offers a wide range of other products including PGH Bricks, Velux Skylights, Masonry Products and Stone Claddings. During this time he has achieved a wide knowledge of all kinds of building products. Ron is a member of the RTAA and CSR Roofing Specialist Council. He has a large knowledge of all the regulatory requirements in regards to Occupational Health and Safety and Australian Standards for the supply and installation of roof tiles.
