Let's talk security fencing 🔒🔗 and how getting it right is about a lot more than height and a bit of barbed wire on top.

On a mine site, different zones need different levels of protection, and each one has specific requirements that dictate the design and materials.

A boundary fence has a different job to fencing around a magazine, a fuel storage area, or a comms facility. Get it wrong and you're either overspending where you don't need to or underprotecting where you can't afford to.

Where exactly is it? How remote? What's the access like? A boundary fence in Tom Price is a completely different mobilisation to one near Karratha. Crew accommodation, freight, equipment. It all needs planning.

TIMELINE
Mining projects move fast once they're approved. If fencing isn't locked in early, it ends up rushed when every other trade is trying to finish.

SPECS
Every major client has their own fencing standards on top of Australian Standards. BHP is different to Rio. Rio is different to FMG. Knowing them early helps us quote to the right standard.

SUPPLY CHAIN
Lead times aren't what they used to be. If it's a big job, we're ordering early and planning around availability.
